How this directory works

• Every entry names its source. In most states each dealer is taken from the state authority's public licensing register, the same source a state inspector would check. Thirteen states run no propane dealer register at all: there the entry comes from the state propane association's public member directory, and the dealer page says so and links to the association. Association membership is a trade-body affiliation, not a state licence, so confirm a company's standing with your state before you sign.
• Direct by default, quotes optional. Every phone number and website link goes straight to the dealer. If you would rather compare, our optional quote request shares your details with up to three validated local dealers so they can contact you directly with a quote. We don't sell your details to advertisers or data brokers, and you can opt out any time.
• No paid placement. The directory is free for any licensed dealer.
• What to ask when you call. Per-gallon price, delivery fee, tank rental, minimum delivery surcharge, contract length, automatic vs will-call delivery, summer pre-buy option. Get all five from at least three dealers before signing.
